What does it run on? +
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Posting to Mercari, Depop, Vinted and Poshmark also uses a free Chrome extension that comes with the app. Mac and Linux versions are planned, not scheduled.
Where is my data stored? +
In a database file on your own PC. Marketplace passwords and keys are encrypted with Windows' built-in protection. Your inventory and sales records are never uploaded to our servers. You choose where backups go.
Which marketplaces does it support? +
Posting and auto-delist: eBay, Mercari, Depop, Vinted and Poshmark. Bonanza and iMaySellit can receive listing text but not photos yet. Facebook Marketplace, Etsy and Craigslist aren't supported.
Can a marketplace flag my account for using it? +
Any automation tool carries some risk, and each marketplace has its own rules. Pivotal Reseller posts from your own computer, through your own logged-in browser, at a normal pace. Read each marketplace's terms and decide what you're comfortable with.
Does it do my taxes? +
No. It builds a Schedule C-style summary and a 1099-K reconciliation by marketplace for you or your tax preparer. It isn't tax advice.
Can helpers use it? +
Yes. Each person gets their own login. Listers and shippers can work without seeing costs, profits or marketplace logins.
What does the alpha cost, and who can join? +
Nothing, and anyone can join. Fill in the short form and the download link comes by email. In return, use it on real inventory and tell me what breaks.
Is it finished? +
No. It's an alpha. Some features are partial, and you will find bugs. The features page lists the status of each one.
